Bordering Syria and Palestine, Lebanon is home to more than 1.5 million refugees from both countries. Refugee camps in Lebanon are densely-populated and aren’t able to provide all inhabitants with the essentials they need in order to improve their living conditions. Syrian and Palestinian refugees face poverty and are unable to access necessities, such as healthcare and education.

Due to the large amount of civilians fleeing their respective countries, the Lebanese government lacks the resources to provide services at the required scale. This is where UHR comes in; through our various programs and campaigns, you can help making a positive impact on your brothers and sisters in Lebanon.
