“The month of Ramadan is the month in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion between right and wrong.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 185)
Ramadan is a time for us to become closer to Allah (swt). It is our duty to celebrate our Islamic history and engrave it in the memories of our children. During this holy month, charity and generosity are key parts that should be emphasized as part of our religious practices.
By assisting others and alleviating pain from them, we are following the teachings of Allah (swt) and it is this that allows us to continue celebrating everything that is meaningful about our faith. Ramadan is one of the most significant periods of our Islamic calendar. Try to make the most of out of Ramadan every year; we never know whether we are going to make it to the next.
Always strive to help those in need, especially during Ramadan, by donating generously. The rewards you reap will be innumerable inshaAllah.
