MIni Markets & Delivery Carts

United Hands Relief’s goal is to help people in emergencies and difficult situations live with dignity and instill hope within communities. We do so by providing vital emergency aid when disaster strikes, and by implementing long-term solutions in education, health care, women empowerment and sustainable livelihoods. Supporting local small businesses to grow food and keep livestock means people can earn an income, live sustainably, and keep feeding their families and communities.

However Small, your Contribution Will Help

elp Families Work Their Way Out of Poverty

UHR’s Micro-financing Sustainable Development projects in Palestine and Jordan provide small business grants to vulnerable skilled individuals. With the help of our teams and personnel, we support these individuals through the entire process of establishing the business for themselves, such as grocery stores, farmers markets, hair salons, or purchasing a delivery cart. We also support women who have participated in vocational training courses to acquire the skills that they need to set up their own business.

By supporting such projects, our goal is to help families become self-sufficient and generate their own income, and not become dependent on aid from relief organizations.

$1,000 will help an existing business owner who lost much of their assets in conflict get back on track by providing him/her with supplies.

$1,900 will provide a breadwinner with a delivery cart (TukTuk) to help him deliver food and other supplies for stores and home, thus making a daily income.

$3,000 will provide a vulnerable individual with a business grant to set up his or her own sustainable and successful business.

Provide the ultimate gift – help people to be able to support themselves, after years of poverty, hunger, and violence. One donation will change lives.
