FIGHTING POVERTY BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION & RESOURCES
At UHR, we believe that every child has the right to learn.
Children bear the heaviest burden in poor countries and especially during and the aftermath of disasters and conflict situations. Millions of children around have been deprived of their basic right to education due to conflict and displacement.
One in five school-aged children is not in school. Children and adolescents are excluded from education for many reasons, but poverty remains one of the most obstinate barriers.
By donating to our Education Program Fund, you can help vulnerable children access quality education, give them stability and hope for a brighter future.

Seeking a Brighter Future for Orphan Children
“Education can be the catalyst needed to pull families and communities out of the cycle of poverty. Knowledge gives children the power to dream of a better future and the confidence needed to pursue a full education, which in turn will help generations to come.”
Educational Scholarships for Merit Students in Palestine
UHR is seeking to identify high school and college students in the West Bank and Gaza to educate and inspire them through scholarship and mentor-ship. UHR aims to serve as a bridge for hope, change, success, and to help these students contribute to their communities. Education is critical to securing a better life.
Uplifting Vulnerable Communities with Training & Education
In Gaza, UHR helped establish RUIA Center for training and Development – It offers intensive training and tutoring to help improve academic performance for students in elementary, middle, and high school. RUIA also offers select programs for college students, graduates and professionals.
Learning in Times of Crises & Conflicts
Conflict and violence are the greatest barriers for children accessing education. UHR strives to ensure that children caught up in humanitarian crises return to school and have access to quality education, because we believe that access to a quality education is a fundamental human right.
