Cleft Lip Reconstructive Surgery for Vulnerable Children in East Africa
Together we can make the world smile
Providing Essential Reconstructive Surgery
United Hands Relief is working to provide essential reconstructive surgery to 250 children born with cleft lip in Kenya. Cleft lip is a congenital defect that seriously impairs hearing, speech, chewing and breathing. In East Africa, approximately 10,000 infants are born with each year.
Today, reconstructive surgery can correct this defect – it can restore normal function and achieve a more normal appearance with minimal scarring.
Without treatment, children remain physically, psychologically and socially disabled. Help provide a free cleft surgery that does more than change a child’s smile. This surgery can transform a child’s life! For just $550, you can change a life forever.
Engages in humanitarian projects both locally and internationally to assist those in dire need of assistance. It is our goal to empower individuals and families within their communities.
